Postdoc for 3-D crystalline porous materials (MOFs & ZIFs) and X-ray crystallography:
Center for Molecular and Nanoarchitecture (MANAR) is about creating new 3-dimension (3-D) crystalline porous materials (MOFs & ZIFs,…) for energy, environment, biomedicine and catalysis applications. To support our activities we are seeking a highly motivated postdoc.
Your main tasks will be:
- Conduct research, analysis, synthesis, and experimentation on new three dimension extended porous materials such as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs), covalent-organic frameworks (COFs). Study their applications in clean and sustainable energy, environmental, catalysis and biomedicine.
- Preparation of single crystals and structure determination using X-ray crystallography, including X-ray diffraction data collection/processing/analysis and structure solution/refinement.
- To work hand-on with graduate students on research projects
- Confer with scientists regarding research, and prepares scientific journals and national and international presentation.
