Mô tả việc làm:
|
A.Responsibility
•To prevent accidents occurring in area of responsibility
•To educate workers working in safety officer’s area of responsibility on safe practices.
B.Duties:
•Ensure that all worker wear the mandatory PPE and are worn correctly
•To continually patrol area to ensure the no unsafe works are being conducted
•To halt work immediately upon discovering unsafe acts happening
•To ensure that no hot work is done on decks or bulkheads that had been painted, or the space had not been properly ventilated and approved by HSE Dept.
•Fire watch is provided during hot work
•Particular attention to be paid to work being done at high levels, in confined spaces, and hot work being done
•To inspect and verify that safety permits are issued and are valid for the work being done
•To ensure the passages, staircases and access ways are kept clear at all times
•To instruct cleaners onboard to maintain tidiness and places clean
•To instruct workers to clear large debris/off-cuts
•To inspect scaffolds and staging daily
•To monitor, and inspect fire fighting system, fire alarms in area of responsibility
•To check that all tools and equipment used on yard are in safe condition
•To record names of worker who disregarded company’s safety regulations
•To ensure that hazardous materials are stowed in safely
•Prepare safety statistics for area of responsibility
•To assist in investigation of accidents and/or near misses
•To immediately notify HSE Manager in event of accidents occurring
•To keep a daily safety log of event found during patrolling

Kĩ năng tối thiểu:
|
- University graduate or College about Labour Safety, Environmental, Mechanical
- At least 3 working experience in Safety Work
- Have in-depth knowledge of yard safety and environment maintence.
- Have basic certificate as: Occupational Safety & Health Managements, Fire Fighting, First Aid...
- Fully understand shipbuilding safety needs and requirements and be able to transmit such knowlege to workers.
- Be able to organize and conduct safety courses and tool box meeting
- Fluent in English language, written and spoken
- Good computer skill, Communication skill, Team work skill
